I had written about the world being on fire — wars, elections, AI, emotional entropy — and how my calendar remains full anyway.
He fiddled. I’m scheduling Zooms.
It’s funny. It’s also uncomfortably true.
But here’s what I keep coming back to: the answer to the noise isn’t paralysis. It’s not detachment either. It’s building things worth building — and making sure the people around you are better off for having worked with you.
