The Opportunity I Couldn’t Ignore

March 2026 · 2 min read

I’ve spent most of my career sitting across the table from clients as an operator, investor, and advisor.

And what I kept seeing — over and over — was a version of the same problem.

Smart people. Real businesses. Real risk. Being served by advisors who were either too narrow, too transactional, or too focused on their own product shelf to see the full picture.

Insurance guys who didn’t understand capital structure. Real estate brokers who didn’t know the balance sheet. M&A advisors who never asked about the insurance implications of the deal they just closed. Everyone rowing their own boat. Nobody steering the same ship.

The client paid for all of it. And got less than they deserved from every direction.

That’s the gap Centered Partners was built to fill.

The thesis is simple: The most important financial decisions in a business owner’s life — protecting what they’ve built, growing it, and eventually transitioning it — shouldn’t be siloed across five different relationships with five different agendas. They should be integrated. Coordinated. Owned by a team that sees the whole picture and has the same incentive you do.

The model is different by design. Centered Partners is built around broad-based employee ownership. Our team doesn’t just work here — they have a stake in what we build. That changes everything about how advice gets delivered. No one is pushing a product. Everyone is protecting a relationship.

The experience commitment is non-negotiable. We set out to build something that’s never existed in this space — a truly integrated advisory firm where insurance, real estate, capital markets, and M&A aren’t separate departments but a single coordinated practice centered on the client. Not centered on the transaction.

I’ve been on both sides of this. I know what it feels like when your advisor is fully invested in your outcome. And I know what it feels like when they’re not.

We built Centered Partners to always be the former.

If any of this sounds like what you’ve been looking for — or what you’ve been missing — I’d love the conversation.
